NEPAL: Promoting Multidisciplinary Academic Engagement on Law and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Nepal

This sub-project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of Nepal to address emerging health challenges through law by reducing the existing gap in interdisciplinary education at the university level in Nepal in the area of health law and prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The Infinity Foundation is establishing an interdisciplinary academic working group composed of law, nutrition and public health academics, and developing and disseminating context-specific teaching tools on law and NCDs to academic institutions to enhance academic engagement and policy dialogue.

NEPAL: Strengthening the Regulatory System and Increasing Consumer Awareness to Prevent Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Nepal

This sub-project aims to contribute to strengthening legal and regulatory frameworks to promote healthy diets by advocating for regulatory and fiscal measures, enhancing multi-sectoral coordination, and increasing consumer awareness, with the ultimate goal of reducing non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
