The Mongolian National Association for Wheelchair Users (MNAWU) aims to have an impact on the accessibility of legal assistance for women with disabilities subjected to or at risk of domestic violence. The sub-project trains police officers on social models of disability and human rights, and improves the capacity of paralegals to provide legal aid to women with disabilities. The Implementing Partner delivers training sessions to enhance the quality of legal services provided. Finally, MNAWU closely collaborates with decision makers to find solutions and overcome challenges of legal primary services for disabled victims of domestic violence.
